WPS Activation and Normal-Attack Allocation
Weapon Pool Skills (WPS) do not all fire together. One selection is made from their weights and the normal-attack remainder.
Standard explanation
When total WPS weight is at or below 100%, each WPS retains its listed chance and the remainder is a normal attack. Above 100%, no normal-attack slot remains and the WPS candidates share selection according to their weights.
Deep explanation
- Below-100 effective weights retain their declared cumulative weight while their sum is at most 100.
- When their sum exceeds 100, normal attacks are not selected and the WPS candidates are selected from the accumulated weight.
- At-least-100 candidates use a separate cumulative draw and occupy the remaining normal-attack slot.
- The engine’s inclusive integer draw gives the first candidate one additional integer bucket, so exact engine probability can differ slightly from displayed percentage.
Effective WPS weight = trunc(sum flat weights × (1 + sum weight modifiers / 100))
Normal-attack remainder = max(0, 100 - total effective below-100 weight)
